Who we are
Farming practices and philosophy
We value community food sovereignty; solidarity economies, and collective liberation grounded in multi-species kinship. We practice reciprocal animal stewardship, queer ecology, diversified animal rotational land stewardship, and silvopasture.
The Goat Wild Collective is based on a community food sovereignty model that embraces solidarity economies and non-commercial/anti-capitalist exchange of goods and services. We produce on average: 150 gallons of milk a year and value-added products during high milking season.
Our multi-species herd size is usually between 12-20 mammals, humans included. Currently we are 8 people, 6 goats, and three sheep. We offer workshops and visits with our collective on a periodic basis- contact us for more info at goatwildcollective@gmail.com.
